Review of Schaum's Outline of Introduction to Mathematical Economics PDF

I wish I would have been told about this book at the very beginning of my PhD / MA integrated course in my program's Mathematics for Economists, because I would have had a higher midterm grade. I did have this book before my incredible final, and so did most of my classmates. Textbooks have an uncanny ability to make it difficult to learn basic information. For domestic and international students alike, this book provided clear-cut explanations on how to easily perform mathematical processes that were previously seen as fearfully advanced and helplessly abstract. Five minutes of reading over a concept in this book could resolve weeks worth of confusion for myself and my classmates. It's not designed to make you an expert; only time and dedication can do that (as is life). It's a bridge to enable you to easily understand the nature of the problems that come your way. I still worked hard after I bought this book, but I stopped hitting walls of endless confusion that prevented me from getting anywhere. This is priceless.
